While there are a few specific rules that entrants need to follow, what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by ending your terrible marriage? Sign us up!

The law firm posted the promotion in what seems like an attempt to help people out during the COVID-19 pandemic. During a time when so many people have lost so much, it’s honestly pretty kind of this law firm to offer up their services like this.

The firm also added that “Valentine’s Day, to some, is a reminder that they are trapped in a marriage that they cannot afford to get out of.” What might seem like a day of celebrating love for most, might just be another reminder of the unfortunate relationships that folks find themselves in.

Some people might crack open a bottle of wine on Valentine’s Day. Others might be cracking open a pen to sign some divorce papers. Hey, you do you! Who are we to judge!

Sorry, Cupid.

Unfortunately for the nearly 40 to 50 percent of married Americans looking to get a divorce, entrants must live in Tennessee. Both parties must also agree to the divorce. Most importantly, entrants must submit a story detailing why they would like to get divorced.

This law firm isn’t just picking a random entrant out of a hat. You’ve got to earn it!
