Zion Williamson’s NBA Rookie Card Could Fetch 750 Thousand Dollar Auction Bid

by Mad Dog

NEW ORLEANS, LA—If you like the NBA and have seven hundred fifty thousand dollars lying around, today might just be your lucky day. According to Bleacher Report, Zion Williamson, star of the New Orleans Pelicans, has a rookie card up for auction, and apparently it’s going to be worth somewhere in the ballpark of three quarters of a million dollars. Cha-Ching!

So here’s what went down. An Australian fan of the National Basketball Association decided to open up a single pack of Panini Flawless Basketball cards. A normal box of these cards costs around seven thousand dollars, which is already pretty crazy.

But it gets even crazier.

Inside his pack, the man found a Zion Williamson card that has been signed by Zion Williamson, and also included a patch of Zion Williamson game worn jersey from the player’s rookie season with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Then, the fan decided to hit up Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions, and they collaborated in order to put the coveted rookie card on the auction block. And on January 11th, this auction is going live. Which means Men’s Humor is going to be bidding on this sucker if anyone is looking to go in on it with us.

Right now we have a couple hundred bucks but we’re good for the rest of the cash if one of our dedicated fans wants to chip in the remaining 749,950 dollars. Honestly, not a bad deal. Then we can sell it and split the profits 50-50. Our direct messages are one hundred percent open, so feel free to hit us up and let’s see if we can’t just buy this sucker once the auction goes live. Keep grinding out there, players! Let’s get that bread, let’s get that dough, let’s make so much capital that we have to be taxed!
