According to Folkspaper, began when Baltimore resident Paul O’Sullivan Facebook-friended people who shared his name. He quickly realized that several of the Pauls who accepted his Friend Request happened to play music too. Damn, you gotta be pretty bored to do something like that!
“Wait a minute, we’re all musicians,” said the first Paul Sullivan. “You know, it kind of felt like the universe was daring me to do something with this serendipitous scenario.”

Though they intended drop their first single in January 2020, COVID-19 had other plans. The group responded by using lockdown as an opportunity to record a proper, full-length album instead.
