The post-dental procedure sedation does some weird things to people and we love seeing what their brain cooks up at the time.
Dental surgeries and complications are not easy to go through. Anyone who has had to have their teeth extracted knows how painful these procedures are. Fortunately, the medical world discovered sedative medication somewhere along the way to dull the pain and make the process as comfortable as possible. However, this sedation also tends to pave the way for some very strange, embarrassing, and hilarious reactions from patients after the operation.
Friends and family members tend to document these reactions to help us remember the surgery with some good old humor. Here are a few post-dental sedation videos that sure make for entertaining memories:
While sedated, you may believe that you are Hannah Montana and that Miley Cyrus is simply stealing your identity. After singing a hilarious rendition of Party in the U.S.A. our Miley-wannabe says she can't catch a break.
It's no secret that older siblings enjoy picking on younger siblings. But these guys took things to a whole new level by convincing their younger sister that a zombie apocalypse was on the rise. The best part is when they ask her to make life-changing decisions, such as saving the family cat or dog. "The cat, you idiot!" she replied. "[The dog] is the worst; he's already dying."
Alex appears to think he's at a karaoke bar when he's not obsessing over the malevolent nature of dolphins or declaring his love for yogurt. He sings several songs and even delivers a spot-on freestyle rap at the end of the video.
This is one of the most well-known post-anesthesia videos, and it features a very funny girl who feels like, "a unicorn just took me on a ride to a magical palace, to the land of the blueberries."
This girl awoke with the impression that she was injured after crashing her NASCAR car during a race. Of course, because she's a NASCAR driver.
Before the surgery, this adolescent is cool, calm, and collected. After the procedure, he comes out professing his love for chocolate chip milkshake. It only gets better from there.
Kelly appears to have acquired a foreign, sing-songy accent as a result of her oral surgery. She spews a nonstop, stream-of-consciousness monologue that perhaps only dogs can understand.
This young woman wakes up in the car with no recollection of what happened to her and begins an Abbott and Costello-style conversation with her mother about the gauze in her mouth.
When David was seven years old, he went to the dentist to have an extra tooth extracted. The result was a classic episode of existentialist thought, punctuated by the odd roid rage.
Kylie almost panics because she can't find her mouth and then describes the desert within it. But, thankfully, no cactuses.
Amanda suddenly remembers that she's a wizard from Hogwarts and probably (hopefully) doesn't regret it.
This brother and sister had their wisdom teeth extracted. Jarrod asks if his lip is falling out and Kelly asks if she has a brick inside her mouth.
