It has been over 40 years since El Arroyo began serving some of the best Tex-Mex food and putting up witty and hilarious marquee signs outside their establishment which stands on the corner of West 5th and Campbell in Austin, Texas. Their food puns and clever quotes have dragged in numerous customers over the years and it continues to do so. They might use jokes as a promotional tactic but they certainly don’t joke about the delicious food that is served in the outlet. The establishment has been started by Bob and Mary Ogden in 1975 and has changed ownership over the decades but the tradition of putting up these iconic signs still remains.
