AGT Judge Simon Cowell Humored His Own Appearance in Response to a BGT Contestant | “I Will Change My Face...Again”

We admire and adore people who can humor themselves. Simon Cowell from America's Got Talent is among those people. Recently, the music mogul took a dig at himself on Britain's Got Talent when the show's contestant said he has a 'difficult' face to make in Rubik's Cube.
The show's judge baffled his fans and viewers when he appeared with a drastically changed look for the live semi-final. Although the 63-year-old denied having any facelift, it seemed to be noticeably different. The TV mogul was the butt of his own joke during an act in Britain's Got Talent. A contestant made an art piece of Albert Einstein and the show's judge Bruno Tonioli's faces using Rubik's Cubes. Amanda Holden, 52, seized the opportunity to tease Tonioli, 67 as she pointed out: 'Well, he's got the orange [face] right!' The art piece stunned all four judges, including Cowell. He asked the contestant, "How [the hell] did you do that?"
The contestant, Tom Crosbie, who was performing the act, replied, "Practice, lots of different faces. It turns out you have a really difficult face to make Rubik's Cubes out of." Ouch! Nobody saw that coming. But Cowell chose to take the comment in his stride and quipped, "I will change my face... again." The live audience cracked up and viewers who were watching the show on TV saw his playful dig at himself as seriously hilarious.
Twitterati had a field day. A Twitter user, @Woodstoc45 wrote, "Lucky he had the opportunity to finish it." Another user, @GrahamOhare commented, "Haven't seen Simon Cowell in years on tv as I hate all of these types of programs but wtf has happened to his face? Can people, not just age." In April 2023, presenters Ant & Dec made a cheeky comment about his changing appearance. Dec told the audience: "We have a new face joining the judging panel," to which his comedy partner replied: "What? Simon has a new face?'"
Despite people's opinions, he hasn't gone under the knife, Cowell told The Mirror, per Daily Mail. He told the publication, "I think it's hysterical. I mean, it just makes me laugh. I haven't had a facelift or anything. I've had a bit of Botox or whatever, but nothing drastic." However, talking to The Sun about his face, Cowell explained, "There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from 'before' the other day and didn't recognize it as me first of all," per the same Daily Mail article. It's difficult to tell because his face seems like it's melting downwards. Though the show's judge never admitted having undergone the knife, he accepts that once upon a time, Botox was a regular once-a-year kind of thing for him. But subsequently, he also regretted the decision. He told Glamour, "Hopefully, I look better now – I probably did have a little too much Botox a couple of years ago because everyone on TV has it," per Mirror.
