The "alpha male" influencer continues to stir controversy from behind the bars in Romania and this time, his attempt at writing poetry had netizens guffawing.
There is no stopping the self-proclaimed "Top G" Andrew Tate even if he stays behind the bars. Despite being stripped of his luxurious lifestyle, the controversial influencer has seemingly taken up a new hobby as he serves his time in a Romanian prison after being arrested on human trafficking charges. His new hobby has turned Tate into a poet who gets more hate than admiration for his creations.
After tweeting about his showdown with a supposed ghost in his cell, Tate has taken to Twitter once again to jot down a few lines in a poetic fashion to describe what it is like being locked up. The former kickboxing champion lamented over his changed looks in a tweet that read: "I saw my reflection today and I barely recognized myself. A long beard, and a full head of hair, and the stresses of the battle show on my face. But then I looked into my eyes and recognized myself completely. They cannot break me."
However, the internet was not having it and Tate's critics went on a field trip to mock the jailed influencer. Several trolls took to social media to ridicule him in his misery and for claiming that he has a "full head of hair."
Ever since he was arrested on December 29, 2022, the online sensation has been photographed multiple times sporting thin hair strands sticking out of his head along with bald patches. Reddit user u/ZookeepergameWaste94 reposted Tate's tweet to the r/facepalm forum and soon, other users in the community started swarming to roast his "god-awful prison poetry."

A long beard, a full head of hair
and the stresses of battle show on my face
But then I looked into my eyes

Addressing Tate's "full head of hair", u/Art_Vandeley_4_Pres wrote: "Like a lollypop rolled over a dirty carpet." u/stargazerweedblazer commented: "Like someone peeled a hard-boiled egg then dropped it on the floor." u/Meta_Spirit even called Tate "Cynthia from Rugrats." Meanwhile, u/i_love_pencils wrote that Tate looked like "someone kicked a meatball through a barbershop."
I looked on you today and finally saw the outside reflect your personality.

Also there's nothing full about that head of hair. pic.twitter.com/LFXwlKmspD

A group of netizens even believe that jail time has "broken" the infamous Top G and he is getting "delusional." Well, this isn't the first time Tate has sent out his prison updates through Twitter.
He previously tweeted about his less-than-ideal living conditions and wrote: "They are trying to break me. Thrown inside a cell without light. Cockroaches, lice, and bed bugs are my only friends at night. When the guards bring me to and from the courtroom, I stay absolutely respectful. They try to pour hatred into my heart."

I’ll be honest I would not consider that a long beard or full head of hair

Tate's tweets have left the internet divided as his loyal supporters continue to rally online for his release from the Romanian prison. According to The Economic Times, there has been a major development in Tate's case lately as his legal team has claimed that Tate apparently has a "black spot on his lung" that is "most likely a tumor."
However, the controversial internet personality himself squashed the news by tweeting: "I do not have cancer. My lungs contain precisely 0 smoking damage. In fact, I have an 8L lung capacity and the vital signs of an Olympic athlete. There is nothing but a scar on my lung from an old battle. True warriors are scarred both inside and out."
We can't guess what happens next but as long as the influencer remains behind bars, we'll probably get more glimpses into his poetic life through Twitter.
