Avril Lavigne is having an eventful year so far in 2023 and the past 30 days have been especially chaotic for the Canadian singer-songwriter. According to Buzzfeed, Lavigne has constantly been in the media after breaking off her engagement with American musician Mod Sun. She was photographed kissing rapper Tyga shortly after. She was also upstaged by some dude wearing a literal bed at the Paris Fashion Week but still, none of these incidents were as crazy as what was about to follow. The What The Hell singer, who has been invited to Canada’s biggest night in music, the Juno Awards ceremony, was interrupted by a rather rude and very naked woman on stage.

A blonde woman took off her top and sauntered onto the stage with no security to stop her action and turned back to the camera in order to show the message painted on her back and the rest of her body. The message on her back read: "SAVE THE GREEN BELT." It is a reference to a controversial residential development plan spearheaded by the Ontario government. The embarrassing incident happened when Lavigne took to the stage for introducing fellow musician AP Dhillon at the annual event in Edmonton, Canada on March 13, 2023.

But Lavigne was feisty enough to ward off the topless streaker with a bunch of cuss words as the security rushed in to escort the naked woman off stage. Lavigne tried to maintain her cool while speaking into the mic at first and ignored the woman but then she decided that the streaking lady was crossing her limits.

"Get the f**k off. Get the f**k off, b***h," Lavigne shouted as security climbed the stage to grab the naked protester.

Even though we are not certain if the streaking lady was arrested or not but Lavigne’s fans and onlookers seemed to appreciate what she did on the show. The singer also joked about the unusual encounter with the streaker when she accepted her award for the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award later that evening. "Now nobody tries anything this time or the Canadian's gonna come out of me and I'll f**k a b***h up," Lavigne said. True enough, the Canadian within her did pop out for a brief second while she was confronting the streaking protester.

According to TMZ, a fan told a reporter that Avril did "a great job handling" the disruptor. Another person said that he got a good chuckle out of it while acknowledging Lavigne had initially kept her cool. A third person praised Lavigne for doing a fantastic job in "fighting through" the disruption. Well, the drama keeps adding up in Lavigne’s life lately but we look forward to the singer releasing a new album pretty soon. Her fans have been waiting long enough to see that happen.
