Some of us might have looked at our old gadgets and furniture and wanted to sell them but we couldn't because we didn't get the right price for them. On top of that, second-hand items usually lose their value unless they were previously used by any iconic personality like Marilyn Monroe or Freddie Mercury. But those are exceptional cases.

For common folks like us, although we can sell our used and second-hand goods online or at a yard sale, there are some unspoken rules that need to be followed. The items you are about to sell must be in a condition where they can still be used by another party upon purchase.

But some folks seem to think that they can unload their random belongings on unsuspecting shoppers at atrocious prices. We skimmed through several social media sites and the r/delusionalcraigslist subreddit to bring you some downright laughable ads posted by people who had the audacity to think that their wares were worth anything, let alone the over-the-top prices they were seeking.
