Basketball Team Cheers Coach’s Toddler for Going Potty by Himself in Heartwarming Video

Sports teams exist for more than just winning and practicing for tournaments. They also represent great teamwork and sportsmanship. They hold a united front when they lose and celebrate together like family members when they win. They often share personal problems and significant life moments with each other as well. A coach won hearts on social media when he posted one such sweet moment in which his toddler shared some special news with him and his high school basketball team.

Coach Josh C informed everyone that his young son has begun to use the potty on his own. This news sharing was captured on video and shared on TikTok with the caption, "Daniel started using the Potty! Now he is telling my HS team the great news! Live for moments like these!" The video has been viewed over 1.5 million times and has received over 410 thousand likes. 

Josh is shown sitting on a chair with his son on his lap in the video. "What did you want to tell the guys?" he asks the boy, pointing to the team in front of them. While the boy giggles, he prompts his son to answer. While the news was being broken, the teammates waited patiently.

Josh continues by asking, "Did you go to potty by yourself?" and the little boy nods in response. The entire team was seen celebrating and applauding his achievement. Everyone seemed genuinely happy and excited for him. The coach tells his son, "You gotta keep going okay?" This tender moment reveals the strong bond between the coach and the players. The clip implied that all of them adore Daniel and will be there for him to celebrate all his milestones.

On Instagram, the coach also shared a video of him celebrating his son's birthday as the entire team sang him a "happy birthday" song. He captioned the post saying, "I will never take this time for granted! I am blessed to have such a perfect son and blessed to coach such an impactful group of young men!" The team members can be seen recording him as well and cheering the little boy as he blows on the birthday cupcake candles.
