Madonna might have established herself with a successful career in music spanning several decades and owned the title of Queen of Pop but we guess she is still trying to figure out social media. The Like a Prayer singer is no stranger to controversies but this time she has grabbed eyeballs and raised eyebrows with her antics on social media. The singer has also left her fans, media, and netizens confused about her drastic physical transformation as well which is possibly the result of numerous plastic surgeries. 

The veteran pop star recently posted a video on her Instagram page with a guitar and she can be seen kneeling with the body of the guitar in one hand and the neck of the instrument in her other. Then she proceeds to give the guitar a brief lick and starts stroking the instrument rather suggestively. The post was captioned: "Is it possible to fall in love with your guitar?"

The video left the comment section conflicted. We might love our musical instruments and be attached to them emotionally but almost everyone criticizing the post agreed that "it's not necessary to lick the guitar" in order to display your love for it. @iggy.dc wrote: "What is going on with you?" and @themikebendict wondered: "What happen to the real Madonna ?"

Surely this can't be the Material Girl hitmaker, right? Or maybe she is just dancing to the beat of her own drums as usual and not paying attention to haters. @rmt78131620 expressed their worry and commented: "It’s sad to see the deterioration of the mental health of both Madonna and Britney in real-time through social media." It's evident that not many of the netizens were impressed with the Vogue singer's guitar-licking and even compared her to Buffalo Bill from The Silence of The Lambs.

"Sis needs to start acting her age falling for telemarketing scams, dementia, and a retirement home," @isc._.06 joked in the comments. Well, the pop star had certainly made attempts to defy the curse of aging with the help of plastic surgery as many netizens noted how different she looked from the Madonna they were familiar with. But it is the cringeworthy videos and filtered photos of the singer which has bothered people more than anything. 

But some loyal supporters believe that "Madonna is really a legend who can do it all" and she is still loved despite all her controversial posts. According to www.madonna.com the singer is all set to kickstart The Celebration Tour on July 15, 2023, which will conclude on January 20, 2024. As much as the internet loves to bash the songstress, we can bet most of them secretly want to attend her concert but they can't afford the tickets.
