It doesn’t come off as a huge surprise when Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds roast each other publicly or on social media. The happily married couple has been doing that for a while now and it perfectly reflects their epic sense of humor. So when Lively brought up a particular topic revolving around her husband filming racy scenes in his films, netizens were curious to know the whole story. A clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’s 2016 episode in which Lively made an appearance has been gaining our attention yet again. The actress elaborated on a throwback Father’s Day story from when Reynolds was away and it will definitely make you roar with laughter.

Reynolds’ hit movie, Deadpool’s racy scenes made Lively’s flight journey rather awkward. She narrated the “torturous incident” to Fallon and said, “We were not together on Father's Day, it was the first day we weren't together.” “I was on the plane with our daughter James. It's kind of torture these days because I'm on a plane and everywhere I look, everyone's watching my husband in a sex montage,” she added. “Throughout the holidays...with another woman!”

Everybody apparently wanted to watch the Deadpool film released in 2016 on the flight which left Lively struggling to sit through the uncomfortable moment with her daughter. The Age of Adaline actress had to sit through 14 hours of “watching her husband having mashed potatoes eaten out of his bum hole.” “And then my daughter is like 'Dada' and hugging and waving at the screen,” Lively joked.  "And he's not waving back and she doesn't understand why he's not waving back - because she thinks it's like FaceTime...and Daddy's getting it.” Well, we can totally understand that nobody wants to spend Father’s Day with their kids watching their husband’s bizarrely steamy scenes in a film.

According to LADbible, the pair has been married since 2012 and have welcomed three daughters; James, 7, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3. Lively revealed in February 2023 that the couple welcomed their fourth child as well. Recently, the couple was spotted on a night out with singer Taylor Swift after her break-up rumors took the internet by storm, per Page Six. The Gossip Girl alum and her husband were seen getting into the same white car as Swift as the group headed to dinner at the celebrity hotspot.

According to Buzzfeed News, Reynolds even joked about his wife's cryptic pregnancy revelation on Instagram and said, "We didn’t make a birth announcement. We just posted a photo and the media did what it does." Reynolds is right.
