Burglar’s Cardboard Box Disguise Ends in Epic Fail and Netizens Are Giving Him No Chill | “Think Outside the Box”

It seems like a case of an unplanned burglary gone wrong as the suspect didn't think through his disguise properly before committing the crime. Or he may not have preferred an old-fashioned and inexpensive guise such as a cardboard box. The disguise ended up revealing his identity instead of hiding it. LOL!
The box-wearing thief landed himself in jail as his "master disguise" fell off his face, consequently revealing his identity. The bone-headed move became a laughing stock in the news headlines. The incident happened in Miami Gardens, Florida and the suspected criminal attacked the Miami Gardens store three times in one night, per Local 10. The surveillance camera caught the burglar entering a presumably mobile shop wearing a cardboard box over his head while allegedly stealing the mobile phones from the Florida store counter. The robber can be seen aggressively smashing the counter glass multiple times and pulling out the phones from inside.
While rummaging through the store's other merchandise, the robber briefly removed the ineffective disguise, a cardboard box and got caught on the surveillance camera, as reported by New York Post. The store's owner shared the video footage with NBC 6. According to the owner of Irepair Tech, located in Miami Gardens, the unusual break-in incident happened around 4 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023. The 33-year-old suspect even had a good exit plan, but unfortunately, his disguise was not well planned and gave away his identity.
People had a blast watching the news and took to a YouTube video of Local 10 news to leave their hilarious comments. A viewer, @NoBrakes commented, "If you didn't tell me, I would think this was a Saturday night live skit." Another viewer, @Win Leon quipped, "Bruh .... think outside the box." We second that. The alleged suspect could have been more creative with his disguise, something more fitting and practical, unless, of course, he wanted to reveal his face on purpose. You never know. Another viewer, @Mr.Original one nice guy, wrote, "I guess he could not afford a paper bag. Go Get A JOB."
@Lucia joked, "Brilliant!! That's thinking inside the box." Another,@Logical Realistic added, "Smartest Crook." People got no chill and roasted the hell out of the unsuccessful burglar. @GOP_last said, "I hope Lorne Michaels has seen this." Jeremias Berganza, the store's owner, told NBC6, "He asked people to let him know if they saw the suspect and, in time, found out the culprit was at the same plaza drinking with his friends at a nearby liquor store."
Berganza immediately called the Miami Gardens Police Department and the man was later arrested. The suspect was identified as 33-year-old Claude Vincent Griffin. He was charged with multiple cases of grand theft, burglary, criminal mischief, cocaine possession and resisting an officer without violence.
The store owner, too, found the burglar's disguise falling off hilarious. He told Local 10, "I laughed at my face (when I saw the video). Though I was sad too because it happened." HAHA!!
