Animals are as funny as they are cute, but they are likely oblivious to their comic potential which is a boon to the pet owners and animals. Cats are often considered having an attitude problem, but this particular cat called Demi left netizens in hysterics. The video of Demi practicing some moves on a golf course has gone viral.

The TikTok video was posted by an account called @auntjojo11 on May 26, 2023. The 14-second video gathered 3.8 million views, over 460K likes, and thousands of comments from TikTok users. The clip showed the cat standing upright on her hind legs while she practiced golf swings with her paws. The cat's owner documented the priceless moment where the cat can be seen swinging her body from left to right, standing like a "meerkat" in the golf cart and seeming to enjoy her time at the golf club. Pawsome, wholesome. LOL!

The entertaining video clip went viral across social media platforms with the caption, "First trip to the golf course." The cat's behavior reminds us of children who are visiting a place for the first time and cannot contain their excitement. Demi's dance moves gave away her happy feelings. Demi's enthusiasm had ripple effects and TikTok users poured their hearts out in the comments. A TikTok user, @jonnycod joked, "Overstimulation right there." Hahaha!! A pet lover TikTok account, @blairrrr_pets commented, "What is going on?"

Cats generally do not stand on their hind legs, but when they do, humans enjoy the adorable sight. However, a cat does not enjoy using its hind legs. Cats only stand upright when they are frightened or trying to scare away an enemy. Fortunately, there are other (lighter) reasons for cats choosing to use their hind legs—stretching out, curiosity, reaching up for something, asking for attention, excitement, etc.

According to pet wellness experts at Rover, "There don't seem to be any underlying health problems linked to two-legged standing in cats. It's usually just a sign of your cat wanting love and attention." But they advocate observing any odd behaviors in your pets and contacting veterinary help if needed.

A TikTok user, @Rooroosd, found an amalgamation of emotions in the cat practicing golf swings and wrote, "A perfect blend of curiosity, panic and be cool." We bet. @skyyy.w thought, "It looks like the kitty is mimicking their (people behind the cat playing golf) moves." Well, you never know. Another hilarious comment by @caryleighton read, "Me when two conversations are happening and I want to be a part of both." The cat moves were pretty relatable for people. A user, @derpberp1 quipped, "Bro is flabbergasted." LMAO!
