Fan Tries to Pass of As a Chris Hemsworth 'Look Alike’ and Then The Avenger Humored Him

The 'Thor' franchise has had such an impact on popular culture that it's no surprise many fans aspire to be the hammer-wielding hero. He's become an incredibly beloved character, whether you want to dress up as Fat Thor at Disneyland or show off your impressive Thor cosplay look at a film premiere. One fan went viral after jokingly asking his followers if he was the next "look-alike" of the Marvel star, and the Avengers actor completely made this fan's day by responding to the post. 

Justin, whose bio now says, "youtube man, editor @supermegashow, rat. (certified Chris Hemsworth lookalike)" joked on Twitter about whether he nailed the role of a Chris Hemsworth "look-alike" after posting a side-by-side photo of himself and the MCU actor. The post received 36.4 million views and 31 thousand likes. In the caption, he joked that girls have told him he looks like Chris Hemsworth. 

The Australian actor responded with nothing but good humor. While this photo made the internet laugh because they clearly look nothing alike, Hemsworth captioned the same post, "this guy thought he'd trick us all by posting himself twice..." to which Justin jokingly said "Thank you brother Chris, but alas, I am the one on the right. If you ever need an extra stunt double you know where to find me."

While the viral Chris Hemsworth fan is well aware that his appearance distinguishes him from the Thor: Love and Thunder actor, he was flattered by the Rush actor's response. "Chris Hemsworth just called me sexy I'm never going to fail," he tweeted. With a compliment like that, we should hope so, especially given Hemsworth's career. It's nice to see Chris Hemsworth acknowledge his "look-alike" fan in such a way. It demonstrates that he truly has a good heart and an amazing sense of humor. Make sure not to miss Hemsworth's return as Tyler Rake in Extraction 2, which premieres on June 16th.
