We don't think straight when we are hungry. When we survive the wait after placing the order and the food is delivered to our doorstep, our emotions are often all over the place. No wonder this comedian accidentally took his neighbor's food parcel and now the neighbor has harbored a grudge against him. LOL!

Food home deliveries have made life simpler. Satiating hunger pangs have never been this easy but unlike any other business, food deliveries have their own frequent faux pas. There are countless stories where the delivery boy reached the wrong address or food got stolen by stray dogs. A comedian narrated his story of a wrong food parcel and how the tension between him and his neighbor escalated though he admitted to "enjoying this tension." Haha! Mohanad Elshieky took to Instagram reels to share how he once mistakenly grabbed food from his neighbor's hands and walked away. 

The video was shared by an Instagram page called Dash Humor and the video reel went viral with 1.2 million views and over 65k likes. Elshieky narrated, "I received a message from my food delivery person that the doors are closed. Can you come downstairs and pick up your food." The comedian went downstairs to grab his food packet when he saw a man behind a glass door waving at him, so he went to him, took the bag out of his hand, said, "Thank you so much," and closed the door. He added, "When I looked behind me, he (the delivery man) was still waving at me, so I waved back and thought. Look at this, making new friends, amazing." 

It turned out Elshieky had grabbed the wrong food packet. And plot twist—the person he assumed to be the delivery guy was actually his neighbor whose parcel the comedian took. The poor fellow was waving to ask for his food packet back. Ouch! The comedian found a bunch of ingredients (groceries) in the bag instead of his ordered food. That's when it dawned on him that he made a mistake. Elshieky continued, "I thought I was getting my food delivery but I was just doing a crime." Guilt aside, he also went downstairs to look for him again but couldn't find the neighbor. The internet was flooded with hilarious comments. An Instagram user, @pandaismynickname quipped, "Plot twist: the neighbor took your food and that's why he can't make eye contact." 

@lifts.with.wolves commented, "I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life as I did at this story!" A user, @princess_amiira praised Elshieky and said, "You're a great storyteller." He further shared that two weeks later, he met his neighbor in the elevator but he didn't even make an eye-contact with Elshieky. Elshieky concluded that in his neighbor's mind, he (Elshieky) must be like "the most dangerous man in America." LOL! The comedian, however, admitted that "he's enjoying this tension." An Instagram user, @thirdeyeblind2020 commented, "I bet your neighbor had door dash that night." We bet.
