Baby Goes to Town on Spaghetti and Unfortunately, It's Dad's Day to Clean Up | “There’s No Disciplining, It’s Just Funny”

Family dinner is always a fun idea until you are tasked with the duty of cleaning up toddlers' mess. This mom on TikTok @taylorbunton2 had an epic idea for her family’s spaghetti night which had the internet crowd in splits. Bunton’s husband was coincidentally up for their daughter’s bathtime duty that day when she organized the spaghetti night, which meant that she would be off the hook when it came to cleaning up the mess their toddler makes.
According to the toddler’s mom, spaghetti is her kid's favorite food but just like every other kid, she loves playing with her food more than eating it. The little girl named Reese is particularly fond of squeezing the noodles in her hands, rubbing the sauce all over her face and mostly making a huge mess with everything that she has within her reach, per Good Morning America.
"She probably gets more on her body than she does in her mouth," the mom recently told the outlet. "You can't blame her. She just loves making a mess and I just love her being able to feed herself, feel the different textures, and just enjoy herself," she explained. Bunton and her husband have become accustomed to the dinnertime chaos as they share their parenting duties. Bunton doesn’t mind cleaning the surroundings and the spaghetti mess but that time, her husband was tasked with the biggest challenge of the night.

Bunton recorded the deadpan expression of her husband while watching Reese play with her food. "Spaghetti night always falls on Dad’s bath night," she wrote in the caption of her post, which now has over 1.2 million views. Unaware of the chaos she left behind, baby Reese babbled as a few strands of spaghetti stuck to her head and face. Bunton’s husband Luke displayed pure defeat on his face and made us cackle at the baffled father who is coming to terms with the pains of raising a child.
"His reaction was just so funny because he knew it was his turn for her bath night and so he was telling me, ‘Stop, stop recording. We shouldn’t let her do this. And I was like, ‘No, this is so funny,'" she told the outlet. "So just getting his reaction, I just know that multiple other families probably relate to the same situation," she added. "And there's no disciplining, it's just so funny."
Netizens flooded the short video with comments and a few moms even joined in to say how they found the post relatable. "Well played mama, well played!" wrote one mom and another mom called Bunton a “genius.” There were a bunch of emotional comments as well where one person said that her “husband saw the video and wished he could give their child one of these baths one last time before they grow up.” Well, even though the toddler's dad had a tough time cleaning after her, we are certain that it will become a fond memory for the parents.
