Aberdeen Live reported on this extraordinary journey, with Anderson, Leo's proud owner, stating, "I'd hold the coins, put a coin down next to him, he'd pick it up and put it in the piggy bank." On June 3, Leo's dedicated Instagram page shared a snapshot of Leo himself, posing proudly with his Guinness World Records certificate and trusty piggy bank. The caption accompanying the photo cheerfully declared, "Hold on to your hats, folks! Leo has something epic to share. He is now officially a Guinness World Record holder! In a mind-boggling one-minute frenzy, Leo managed to deposit a whopping 23 10p coins into his piggy bank!”

“Let's give a round of applause to everyone who contributed to this achievement. Trust us, the amount of paperwork and evidence required was mammoth!" it concluded. It seems Leo's drool-filled adventure has paid off, not only leaving his owner in awe but also securing a place in the prestigious Guinness World Records. The virtual applause for Leo's record-breaking achievement echoed throughout the comments section of Leo's Instagram post. Instagram user @hanktricks commented, "Wow!! That is speed! This is however not the first time that dogs have broken the most amazing records. An eager pup, Norman traveled the fastest 30 meters (98.4 feet) on a scooter and bicycle by a dog and broke two world records in 2013 and 2014, per Guinness World Records. Similarly, Purin, a beagle from Japan traveled 10 meters (32.8 feet) on a rolling ball in a record-breaking time of 9.45 seconds, per Guinness World Records. With the love and encouragement of fans and the rock-solid support of their owners, we are sure that dogs like Leo will keep breaking records and melting hearts. With a wag of his tail and a slobbery grin, Leo has proven that even with a little bit of humor and a whole lot of determination, incredible things can happen. Congratulations, Leo! May your piggy bank continue to overflow with success and treats!
