Chasing fame can be dangerous if you are stupid!
The Stoke Twins, with 4.8 million followers on their Youtube channel were arrested last year for creating a bank robbery prank for their channel. They had actually done the prank in 2019 called 'BANK ROBBER PRANK (gone wrong)' and now they face charges of felony.

The video had shown that they were pretending to have already robbed the bank dressed in black masks and clothes with bags full of cash. They were trying to use the public's help to get away with the pretend robbery and had ordered an Uber too. The Uber driver denied them the ride saying: "This is weird. It’s not funny. You can’t take this ride … get out of my car please."
As reported by The Independent, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office weighed in on the matter and said: "These were not pranks. These are crimes that could have resulted in someone getting seriously injured or even killed. Law enforcement officers are sworn to protect the public and when someone calls 911 to report an active bank robbery they are going to respond to protect lives."

They added: "Instead, what they found was some kind of twisted attempt to gain more popularity on the internet by unnecessarily putting members of the public and police officers in danger."
According to the report, they have been charged with "one felony count of false imprisonment, and one misdemeanor count of falsely reporting an emergency." And if convicted they could face 4 years in prison!
