Oscars may come and go but some controversial dresses donned by celebs remain etched in our memories.
The Academy Awards is not only known for being the most prestigious award ceremony for the film industry people but it also doubles as a gala fashion event where celebs turn up in their best outfits. Well, not really. Some stars might have fallen victim to the whims of their faulty stylists or made poor fashion choices and ended up being ridiculed for their red-carpet looks. So we skimmed through the pages of past and present and compiled some of the worst fashion fails from the Academy Awards through the years. These controversial dresses worn by famous faces are so absurd that they will keep making us cringe every time we come across them on the internet.
