Elon Musk Spams Listeners With 2 A.M. Fart Noises Livestream on Twitter Spaces | "Can't Believe This Isn't Parody"

While trying to test a new mic, Musk played with voice modulation and sound effects and also laughed at his own not-so-funny jokes.

Elon Musk has been gradually transforming into the internet's favorite source for new meme material with all his antics. After becoming the CEO of Twitter, Musk made several headlines for taking some of the most controversial decisions and actions. He started firing a massive number of employees and introduced the Twitter Blue subscription, irking many social media users who thought it was unfair. Even though the man has made promises of taking mankind to Mars with the sheer power of his genius and money, for the being at least, Musk has been pretty occupied testing his new mic at odd hours.

According to Insider, on February 28, 2023, Musk did a Twitter Spaces livestream full of fart noises and random sounds for 11 minutes straight. He tested out the voice modulation on his new mic, played with sound effects, and laughed at his own not-so-funny jokes. Over 42,000 audience in his Twitter Spaces were left stumped by the Twitter CEO's strange livestream which was also joined by his wealthy investor friend, Jason Calacanis.

Musk talked about how he was in Austin, Texas, where it was 2 a.m. at the time he started streaming. Calacanis then noted that the high-pitched voice from the mic sounded "like helium from a balloon." After this, Musk turned into a kid in a candy store upon discovering a whole sound effects board and started playing around with it. The audience was stumped by his unusual whims and actions as usual.

All of a sudden the people in Musk’s Twitter Spaces could hear the sound of a toilet flushing. "Dude, you can’t go on Twitter Spaces when you’re in the bathroom," Calacanis remarked. But there was no one to stop Musk. After the sound of the flush, there came the fart noises as Musk and Calacanis guffawed like crazy. For a while, Calacanis stopped responding due to some technical difficulties we can guess but he returned soon. Musk confessed that he didn’t even know if anyone could hear him because Spaces crashed on his iPhone, reports GOD.

After the duo faced some trouble trying to figure out the basics of Twitter Spaces, the stream just ended abruptly. "Well, I've gotta go to bed. Talk to you later," Musk said before logging off. And that is how the mind-boggling livestream of two tech geniuses laughing over fart noises and random sounds wrapped up. Sure enough, Twitter users were ready to clown Musk for this self-indulgent live stream.

@JConabicycle wrote: "Money can't buy happiness. Elon Musk held a 2 a.m. livestream to test a 'new mic' where he spammed listeners with fart and rooster noises for 10 minutes while laughing." @MelaynaLokosky called Musk "high-key desperate."

@TheUSASingers pointed out how "Musk could be doing so much good in this world, and instead he makes fart noises and plays footsie with racist QAnon cultists." Maybe all of these bizarre mic-testing experiments are serving some higher purpose and it is paving a way for Musk to colonize Mars. Only Elon Musk would know.
