Elon Musk Being Flanked by His Bodyguards Even in Restrooms Got the Internet Meme-ing His Trust Issues

A billionaire can get paranoid on some level worrying about their safety but Elon Musk is possibly taking his paranoia to another level. The business magnate, investor, and CEO of Twitter can be usually spotted flanked by his sturdy bodyguards while making public appearances. Apparently, his bodyguards accompany him to the restroom as well.
According to BBC, the billionaire remains in the vigilant protection of two bodyguards even while going around the Twitter headquarters. A former engineer at Twitter has disclosed some weird yet hilarious things about Musk to the outlet which has stumped all of us.
"Wherever he goes in the office, there are at least two bodyguards - very bulky, tall, Hollywood movie-[style] bodyguards. Even when [he goes] to the restroom," the former employee said. The person also believes that Musk does not trust his Twitter employees and brought in Tesla engineers and asked them to evaluate coding over a few days before deciding who to lay off.
Elon Musk now has bodyguards flank him everywhere inside Twitter HQ — including accompanying him to the bathroom. He is reportedly paranoid that someone in the company may go rogue & stage a coup. https://t.co/BdTQvvJmqg

The former employee also stated that the wave of mass layoffs resulted in 70% of Twitter's workforce losing their jobs since October 2022. "For someone on the inside, it's like a building where all the pieces are on fire. When you look at it from the outside the façade looks fine, but I can see that nothing is working. All the plumbing is broken, all the faucets, everything," they added.
Musk reportedly also removed the cleaning and catering staff, proving that it's all about money for him. He was recently in the news for allegedly trying to sell the office plants to the employees as well, reports Business Insider.

Lisa Jennings Young, Twitter's former head of content design, revealed that "her team had made good headway at limiting trolling on Twitter."
"It was not at all perfect. But we were trying, and we were making things better all the time," Jennings Young said, speaking publicly of her experience for the first time since she left after Musk's takeover.
However, the internet isn't surprised by Musk's bizarre behavior since most of us are aware of the billionaire's puzzling decisions and actions in recent times. But the internet crowd didn't shy away from reacting to this latest revelation about Twitter's CEO: having bodyguards accompany him to the restroom.
Yeah, that’s how it works. Whenever the owner of a company gets attacked on the way to the bathroom, whoever wins gets the company.

A lot of people joked about the Twitter CEO's puzzling behavior and @GrrlScientist wrote: "Whoa! So a hostile corporate take-over involves armed insurrection? I've missed A LOT." @hannahposts questioned: "If the workers physically overpower him do they get the company? Idk I never went to business school."
Hmmm I don't buy that he's afraid of employees

He's afraid of somebody - maybe the bonesaw kingdom whose billions he flushed down the crapper - but it's not the cowed, abused employees
He also has an executive assistant toilet paper folder, no?

Musk might not get rid of his paranoia or get over his trust issues anytime soon but at least the internet is having a gala time making memes out of his confusing antics and jokes.
