Budweiser Is WASTING Their Huge Horses, Will NOT Run A Super Bowl Ad For First Time In 37 Years

by Tim K

One of the best parts about Super Bowl Sunday is watching those kickass commercials, but according to Advertising and Media Insider, this year will look a whole lot different: Budweiser will not be running an ad during this year’s Super Bowl, a first in 37 years.

Damn. What about those big-ass horses? They’re really just not gonna use them?

Budweiser has aired a variation of its iconic commercial featuring a bunch of huge horses pulling a guy around in a cart since 1983. This year, though, the beer corporation is opting to sit the game out, and instead donate the money it would’ve spent on the ad space to the Ad Council and COVID Collaborative to raise awareness of the COVID-19 vaccines, the company said in a statement.

However, while Budweiser won’t air an ad during the game itself, the American brewery will air a commercial in the week leading up to the game. The company released its new commercial online earlier this week, titled “Bigger Picture.”

As you’ll see, this new commercial has zero horses at all. Kinda makes you wonder if Budweiser killed their horses in some sort of accident and is trying to buy time so they can get new horses by next year.

Damn. Welp, here’s to hoping Budweiser comes clean about accidentally murdering their big horses, and that they do NOT repeat that mistake with the horses they’ll surely be buying in the next few months!
