Air travel has its many anxious moments even for a frequent traveler. Every time we step into an airport, we get stressed out about a number of things. The uncertainty of a safe flight journey bothers kids, adults and elders alike. When the flight attendant begins the "safety demo," we often feel our hearts beating a little faster, especially if we are prone to overthinking and imagining worst-case scenarios.

However, one flight attendant hatched a plan to calm the passengers, and the internet declared it a hit. A video was shared on the account of TikTok user @borderflight1406. The video has garnered over 14 million views and 1.8 million likes so far. It's no surprise the video went viral because the flight attendant was hysterical as hell. Spirit Airlines passengers flying from Texas to California had a gala time while hearing the airplane safety instructions as this flight attendant turned the usual boring demo into a stand-up comedy act, and people on board the plane couldn't control their laughter.

The female flight attendant emerged to give the standard in-flight safety lecture. Little did the passengers know they were in for a laugh ride. She began her demo by greeting the passengers and said, "Let's see who is paying attention, so go ahead and point from where the oxygen mask comes from." Unsurprisingly, only three people pointed it out and she quipped, "That's awesome. Only three of you are going to get oxygen." Everybody laughed. Although the video is blurred, it is the audio that truly matters. She then addressed people who were traveling with children. 

The flight attendant said, "Ladies, listen to me. A child traveling with you, they come in many different shapes and sizes." The plane erupted in insane laughter over her hilarious remark. But hold your horses because her banter didn't just end here. She continued to address the mamas on the plane.

"If you have more than one of these children traveling with you, assess your situation–who is it going be?" Many women could be heard guffawing. The flight attendant quipped, "You cannot help everybody, so you have to decide and pick your favorite." Haha! Joking about how mothers secretly have a "favorite" child, the attendant said, "You know, you got one. Probably you don't have to tell them." Then she addressed the kids and roasted them by saying, "Children, you didn't do your homework last week, so you're not going to get a mask." 

Her banter made the passengers forget their worries and fly in high spirits. TikTok, of course, approved of her unique style of delivering the standards. A TikTok user, @spet123, wrote, "She's great! Stand-up comedy with your flight." Another TikTok user, @acethemoneygame commented, "I have never traveled Spirit but I would consider getting on one if she is the flight attendant. Absolutely funny." We second that. @honnydipp said, "Mrs. Maisel, flight attendant!" Oh yeah! @voncoco933 quipped, "Former Disney Jungle Cruise hosts now working the friendly skies."

This is not the first time that flight attendants demonstrated their humorous side though. A sassy attendant successfully distracted passengers during a boring flight with his hilarious announcements. He was heard saying, "If you are traveling with more than one child, first of all, why, sweetie? We’re going to Puerto Rico." Spirit Airlines grabbed headlines in another news in April 2023, when the budget airlines flight attendant mocked employers on loudspeakers, per Daily Star.
