NBC6's meteorologist didn't expect a pigeon's 15-second screen time during a live TV broadcast would impact her dramatically. But the bird-blooper left Chelsea Ambriz and others in splits as a pigeon unexpectedly swooped onto the screen behind her like a giant monster. Her reaction? Well, she was frightened for her dear life.

The hilarious bird blooper was posted on May 23, 2023, by Ambriz herself on her Twitter account. The broadcaster poked fun at her reaction and tweeted, "Brain: the bird is going to land on you! Reality: I am in the studio, and this is a live camera." LOL. The meteorologist has quite a sense of humor and the internet loved it.

The Florida meteorologist was giving locals an upcoming forecast when a pigeon suddenly flew straight towards the camera and Ambriz got the shock of her life. What looked like a Hollywood beach from behind the screen, the bird's zoomed-in image caused her to shriek in terror. "Whoa, my gosh," she yelled, ducked and quickly jumped aside fearing the bird would land on her and then burst into laughter at her own reaction. Haha! "The bird startled me," Ambriz squawked. The meteorologist gestured toward the shoreline when the bird flew into the picture, photobombing. She later revealed that the angle at which she stood made it look like the bird was coming for her and her first instinct was to duck down to save herself and move away from there. After a few seconds, she realized she was inside the studio room. Hilarious!

The video she shared gained traction, and she discussed her hilarious bird blooper during live TV with NBC6. She said, "I wasn't expecting the bird to come and from my vantage point, I thought it was going to land on my head." She added, "My natural reaction was to duck. Then, in a nanosecond, you start thinking: "You're on TV, you're at work, keep going, keep going." And just like any professional, she didn't let the scare deter her from delivering the forecast for the day as she quickly composed herself.

@julezzbrown wrote, "So funny! I used to think those girls on the @BacheloretteABC were so funny for being afraid of birds! I have changed my mind." Another Twitter user, @Wxmetro said, "Just when I thought the beach was safe, now monster pigeons." LOL, right. Ambriz said she didn't expect the video to gain so much attention, "I definitely did not think it was going to explode like it has. The retweets and the interactions on Twitter have been fun to see, but yeah, it was just a blooper."
