The kid is being lauded for her customer-handling skills and people think she might grow up to be a prolific businesswoman.
The best quality about children is that they are bluntly honest but their honesty might land the grow-ups in a pickle at times. If kids are fond of you, then they will make you aware of it and if they are not, they will be pretty clear about it as well. And if you try to trick them in order to grab their favorite stuff, it won’t be an easy task for you. A video that captured the internet's attention features one such moment courtesy of a little girl running a mock diner.
When her mom poses as a customer, the little girl asks her, "What do you like, Ma'am?"
"That cookie looks pretty good. Can I have that cookie?" her mom replies, referring to the cookie which the little diner manager is holding. But the child’s immediate response has got the internet cackling. “No,” the child says firmly. “That’s mine.” She sounds like a seasoned businesswoman.
Then she proceeds to inform her mama that she has some broccoli available and she serves it to her “customer” saying: “There you go, ma’am.” The video has gone viral since being uploaded and has amassed more than 35,000 upvotes. The caption of the viral video read: "This Girl Running a Diner." The wholesome video received numerous comments and many Reddit users found the child’s reaction absolutely hilarious and adorable. Some even complimented her for her business management skills and how she is already a pro at it.
Amused at the kid's antics, @u/CthulubeFlavorcube wrote: "I have... uuuhhhh... broccoli. That's what you get, okay? Great now leave me and my cookie alone." @CLAY9774 wrote: "She looks prepared for an actual job, the face saying 'idfc', looking back at the stuff she has. Everything looks perfect." @certain-flamingo-881 said, "I can't believe this kid knows how to speak with her eyes already. She’s a genius business owner. She promotes broccoli (something that goes bad fairly fast) while keeping the cookies to herself (much longer shelf life)."
Another story of a "sassy little girl" went viral on social media platforms as well. A TikTok video was reshared on Reddit where the young child gained a lot of praise for her acting skills and how convincing she was. The girl named Maddy reacts in a shocking yet funny when her father tells her that "one day she will change the world." But Maddy responds by saying, "No, I won't. I'm evil. I'll make everybody witches and bats and vampires." However, Maddy abruptly gives up her character and confesses that she is joking. "I won't do that. I would never do that," the cheeky little girl confesses.
Sure we have a lot of talented businesswomen and actresses starting their hustle early these days and they definitely might change the world. Making people laugh is the first step towards it.
