The little girl won many hearts online for her sassy response to what her mom ordered at her play diner.
Kids say the funniest things sometimes. A toddler, in a fun play-diner that she does with her mom, shows amazing wit that would make you roll with laughter just like the mom did.
Parent and TikTok user Sarah (@saruh2themax) often posts videos of her adorably cute child, Willow. Running a pretend restaurant is one of Willow's favorite activities, but it seems like the snarky toddler prefers to choose which orders to fulfill and which to change. Mom Sarah tries to "order" the cookie Willow is munching on in a humorous video, but the cunning toddler instead brings her a dish of broccoli!
This Reddit video which gripped the viewers online was posted by user u/Gloomy__Revenue captioned, “This girl running a diner." The video shows a little girl handling a diner all by herself as she munches on a cookie. The clip begins with a shot of Willow walking towards the counter of her “diner.”
“What do you like, ma’am?” she asks her mom, to which the mom replies that she thinks the cookie in Willow's hand looks good. The toddler, uncaring about the mom's comment, immediately responds: "That's mine." She instead offers her mother a toy broccoli, saying, “I have... um... uhh... broccoli. I have broccoli for you,” as she turns around and gives her mother a snarky side-eye.
The hearty video is getting all the love it deserves online with social media users praising it for the calm yet smart job done by the girl without being rude to her mom. The thread was full of comments like, "The 'I don't give a damn' look is priceless ROFL."
Many users like u/sharkattack85 and u/teepeaparty shared their fun perspectives, writing "That broccoli side eye was funny asf" and "This is like my first time ordering in a hole in the wall somewhere in NYC, in the 90s..." These were among the most upvoted comments in the thread.
In an interview with Romper, the mom shared her perspective on the trending video. “We’ve had the play kitchen for over six years so it has been a staple of the house and she’s seen her older siblings play with it her whole life. We actually almost got rid of it during a move over the summer because it wasn’t getting used too much! I’m so glad we held onto it now since she suddenly took a liking to it the last few months.”
On her breaks from the diner, the young sass-queen “absolutely LOVES to play dollhouse,” Dart told the publication. “When she gets in a groove she will sit by herself narrating whole stories at her dollhouse for an hour. It’s so fun to listen to.”
“She also loves to play doctor,” Dart revealed. “For some reason, it’s always a musical and she has to sing every line. Not sure why! She sings to herself constantly and dances a lot. Art is always a hit too.”
