A 90-year-old granny felt she would die after watching her granddaughter's new hair color. We all have grannies who are traditional and act all weird if we flow against the tide. Sara Louise Kay's grandmom is no different. 

A hilarious moment was captured in a video on TikTok when Ms. Kay revealed her newly dyed hair color from natural brown to a shocking pink. She wrote in the caption, "You all think my grandma likes it?" But Grandma had a dramatic yet hilariously priceless reaction. Ms.Kay from Bay Village, Cleveland, Ohio recorded herself with her new hair color and planned to shock her grandmother who is lovingly called GG in the family. GG was indeed appalled.

According to Ms. Kay, "My grandma has lived with us for a while so that we can take care of her and worry less about her. We prefer it to have her living on her own so that we know she's safe," per Daily Mail. The video begins when Ms. Kay says, "My grandma doesn't know I dyed my hair (pink) yet." She then wears a round hat and hides her hair to spring the surprise. The video later shows the grandmom asking Ms.Kay why she's wearing a hat and then she suddenly notices a strand of her pink hair.

The granny turns her head towards her granddaughter and says, "It looks awfully red a the bottom." Ms.Kay reveals her shocking pink hair, and the grandma instantly reacts. She responds, "Oh, you did not. Well. I am going to die and you are not coming. I have just decided I am dying." LOL. Gran lowers her head in disappointment and says, "Aw, that is awful. You just want to rebel." The 20-year-old's mom drops a comment in her daughter's defense and says, "20-year-old student is a bit too old to rebel." People on TikTok had so much fun at the grandma's reaction. A TikTok user, @yaboycyruss, wrote, "At least your mom approves, both my mom and my grandma would’ve killed me." Another TikTok user, @trin stated a hilarious fact and said, "Older folks are so funny without even trying." 

@elcinore commented, "I love when old people think everything is about them and their opinion, LOL." Another comment by @Lynzie read, "That was so dramatic, I love it." Ms. Kay tells her grandma that dyeing hair is fun but she continues to disagree, "It's not fun to me." Hahaha! The girl shares, "She just turned 90 years old in November so she's got lots of health issues that come with age but we support and take care of her and love having her in the home." The savage grandma is called GG, which stands for Gorgeous Grandmother. Ms.Kay adds, "We're very close, I make her a cup of tea every afternoon and sit with her. She loves to listen to the songs I write. I decided to film her reaction because she was born in 1930 - a totally different time where women had very different constraints and were held to a different standard." 

She also admits that her grandma's reaction did not surprise her, "I knew she'd be upset because that's just not something she's used to, and loves my natural hair which is usually long and brown. She's very funny and just as dramatic as me so I knew her reaction would be crazy." The hilarious video went viral with over 4.2 million views and 1.1 million likes.
