Bride Is in Hysterics After Groom Mispronounces Wedding Vows | “My Waffly Wedded Pancakey Wife”

Weddings are mostly well-organized events where both the bride and groom strive to be their perfect selves. People getting married take care of every small detail which might pose a risk of ruining their big day. But sometimes, certain wedding moments go awry and turn out to be the most hilarious thing. One such sweet couple, Andrew and Melissa Engstrom probably ended up becoming a part of the most viral moment ever recorded at a wedding altar.
The duo who seemed destined for each other also delivered a whole comedy show to the wedding guests and they were totally unprepared for it. According to ABC 7, the lovely couple was recorded at the altar reciting their respective wedding vows. When it was the groom's chance to recite his vows after the minister, he ended up fumbling a bit with the pronunciation of "lawfully" and said "waffly wedded wife" instead. Upon realizing his mistake, Andrew jokingly added "pancakey wife" to his wedding vows, too. Haha!
This caused the venue full of guests to crack up collectively but none of their laughter was as infectious as the bride's. Melissa completely lost herself in fits of laughter as the wedding ceremony was interrupted for a while. The marriage efficient chucked a bit, too, and patiently replied that it's okay, "he has seen this before," which makes us wonder how many times brides and grooms have mispronounced their wedding vows in the past. "I've been scared of this all my life," Andrew muttered at the altar as Melissa continued her high-pitched uproarious cackling without a bother. Their wedding videographer Larry McDonough uploaded the side-splitting video to YouTube with the couple's consent. It didn't take long for the 2009 clip to go viral and the video has garnered over 13 million views on the platform so far. The groom's gaffe gained so much popularity that it even managed to land the happily married couple an interview with Good Morning America and a spot on America's Funniest Home Videos.
The video of the groom giving the bride a ring and lots of giggles resurfaced on other social media platforms to gain even more views, which essentially introduced people to the giggly bride in case people missed out on the old original video. According to a post made by @smitrisa7 on Instagram, the couple is apparently still going strong after all these years and are parents to three children. The caption on the post also mentions that Andrew Engstrom is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Well, the Engstrom couple seems to have found the perfect match in one another and we wish this sense of humor stays alive in their relationship till the end.
