Turns out when it comes to prophecies, we have Nostradamus and the likes on one extreme and a bunch of fifth-graders on the other. A recent post that is driving the Internet crazy is a photo that shows a fifth-grader's prophecy for 2020. Well everyone now thinks he is the one who jinxed it.

The Times wrote about this saying, "For a while now, netizens cracked a lot of jokes about 2020. Every little debacle that took place this year was heavily scrutinized under the 'Just 2020 things' lens.  Yet another instance has come to the fore. A man named Kevin Singh has caught the internet's attention, thanks to a comment he made in his school yearbook. It was a prediction that he made about the current year and it was made 10 years ago, that was in 2010. "My prediction for the year 2020 is that everyone will live peacefully and they will cure every disease there is," it said. Quite idealistic, considering what a banner year it has been."

"This photograph was posted on Twitter by a page called 'Freezing Cold Takes.'
Needless to say, the tweet went viral. Netizens had a lot to say about this. While it is true that we all lived peacefully confined in our homes, the novel coronavirus is yet to find a cure. The internet hilariously trolled the poor boy's old and naive prediction and called it 'his fault.' Kevin Singh also took to Twitter and tagged along to the joke, saying "Sorry guys."  the article said.
