This whole year we have had employees spilling the tea about famous brands and now we have an ex-McDonalds employee telling it all and it's bizarre.
The Mirror UK wrote about it saying, "A former McDonald's employee has revealed the top secrets he learned while working at the fast-food chain. Michael Ryan has dished the dirt on everything from the truth behind its chicken salads and why it's Coca Cola taste nicer."

"Michael, who is known as @evilglitterqueen on TikTok, replied to a fellow user's request for employees of larger companies to share insider information from their jobs. In a video that has been viewed more than 11,000 times on the platform, Michael explained the "real reason" McDonald's straws are so long. Michael said: "I worked at McDonald’s and I learned so much s***."

"McDonald's has confirmed the reasoning behind its wider straws on its website, and also explained that the reason it tastes so good, is because the Coca-Cola syrup is pre-chilled before it enters the fountain dispensers and the ratio of syrup is strategically set to allow for ice to melt. But that's not his only claim about the chain as he also alleged: "Their grilled chicken is injected with a saltwater mixture to keep it moist but also flavourful."
Before he went on to say: "Their ice cream machine is made from whole whipping cream and it’s cleaned once a week." YIKES.
