The animal shelter is making pet sketches to raise funds. The drawings might not be masterpieces but they sure reflect the animals' personalities.
Our pets have special personalities and each animal has unique traits that make them even more adorable. However, not all of our furry friends are fortunate enough to find their forever homes. Some of them end up in shelters, waiting to find their human companions and new homes. Such shelters are devoted to keeping the animals safe and healthy until they find a family who can adopt them. Some animal rescue centers come up with creative and fun ideas to help the animals.
The Coulee Region Humane Society in Onalaska, Wisconsin, has organized its Poorly Drawn Pet Fundraiser and for a humble donation of $20 or more, the staff will draw a picture of the donor’s pet. Isn’t that an interesting way to raise funds? The shelter put out a Facebook post that clearly states, "We aren't guaranteeing professional works of art here, but they sure will be priceless."
