Jonathan Bennett's Husband Shares The Hilarious Reality Of Being Married to a 'Mean Girls' Icon

Mean Girls released in 2004 is still a favorite around the world. Whether you hate it or love it, you couldn't have missed it. It did a great job of birthing some of the most iconic characters of all time. Although Regina George grabbed our attention for the most bit, it wasn't hard to miss the charming Aaron Samuels played by Jonathan Bennett. In the movie, Samuels plays the role of the secret crush of Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) and the on-again, off-again boyfriend of Regina George (Rachel McAdams). In real life, Bennet, the actor, TV host and producer plays the role of an all-time husband to fellow actor, Jaymes Vaughan. Ever imagined what it's like to be married to an icon such as Bennett and face the rather harsh yet hilarious realities the partnership presents? Vaughan gave us a sneak peek.

Vaughan recently revealed in a viral TikTok video that marrying Bennett hasn't discouraged Bennett's many admirers from swooping in whenever the two are out in public. In the video clip, we see Bennett chatting with fans and taking selfies in the background while Vaughan enjoys his solo walk through Paris, sipping coffee.

He gave us a hilarious reality check of what it is like to marry a screen icon. "This is what it's like to go on vacation when your husband was in Mean Girls," Vaughan jokingly sings to the camera while walking. "Everywhere you go people stop and take a pic and you just hang out by yourself," he says while enjoying the "pretty" view. Vaughan clarified in his caption that he doesn't take any of this seriously and sees his husband's rabid fan base as both amusing and a blessing. He wrote, "Obviously I find both the humor and blessing in this."
This wasn't the first time he was hit with this amusing reality. He had earlier posted a video on Instagram when his iconic husband was snatched away for some pictures by the paparazzi. He supports him in every way and even runs away funnily when people want to give Bennet attention. He wrote in the video, "Me being a supportive husband and abandoning Jonathan the minute I see paparazzi." People in the TikTok comments fully agreed with Vaughan. The admirers didn't stay back from their love for Bennet even in the comments. "Okay but in his defense, he is THE Aaron Samuels," wrote @ponyothejindo. "You're married to Aaron Samuels— an ICON," commented @santana_hill.
"Ok but sir you married Aaron Samuels…you signed up for this lol" said @doss.hunter. "Ummm excuse me, don't you mean OUR husband?" added @reyly94. Some of them smartly left references to Tina Fey's comedy as well. "Have you told him his hair looks better pushed back?" joked @alehm_86. "Do you guys do something special on October 3rd?" teased @miguelaciodesu. Vaughan and Bennett tied the knot in March 2022 last year.
