At the premiere of Smith-Cameron's new show, Waco: The Aftermath, she had a special guest, the other (Rory) Culkin. On Sunday, April 16, 2023, she posted a photo on her Twitter account with Rory Culkin. She captioned the photo, "And who I invited to it (because he was so brilliant in the first series, Waco, as David Thibideau, the guy who lived through and wrote the book." She then joked and teased her co-star Kiera Culkin by writing, "Yes, that's right. It's RORY, the NICE Culkin." LOL.

The 65-year-old actress hit the bull's eye as the recent HBO hit series plot showed growing tensions between Smith's character (Gerri Kellman) and Kieran Culkin's character (Roman Roy). In the series, Roman leans on Gerri as he grapples with his father's death. They have an unconventional flirty relationship but Gerri keeps giving Roman the cold shoulder. Although Smith's character is at loggerheads with Kieran's character in the show, The Margeret star spoke fondly of her Culkin co-star. She shared, "We were kind of always flirting on set," in an interview with Esquire last month. Talking about their tight bond on set, she added, "It was never for one second a real flirtation. It was that set-crush kind of thing," reported PEOPLE.

The Succession fans on Twitter could not hold their excitement on the post and posted hilarious comments on the duo's camaraderie, on and off-set. A Twitter user, @wikitina, wrote, "I love how even though we had some changes since succession S04 ep 03 aired, some things never change. Oh! How I missed mommy's girlfriend annoyed by baby man. This friendship is yet another thing we are thankful for - and hi, Rory." @bodesulaiman, commented, "Collecting Culkins like Infinity Stones, you are." @aggiebrett quipped, "You got a Culkin thing, apparently." A fan, @NelStamp, showed excitement for the show and said, "Omg! I am so excited. I watched the first series and can't wait for this one."

Smith replied to her tweet, "Wasn't it so good? I was thrilled to be cast in the second series."

The duo has openly shared how they adore each other and since the premiere of Succession in 2018, the co-stars have displayed affection on social media. Smith posted a snapshot on Instagram with Kieran Culkin. Smith-Cameron held a martini glass in her hand while Culkin's middle finger was raised to his lips. They sat next to each other and smirked at the camera.

She said, "He's a great acting partner, and we have this fabulous plotline and it's enormous fun." Echoing her feelings, Kieran Culkin said, "It's nice to work with that lady. I mean, look at her... it's a joy. I've been friends with J for nearly 20 years or so. I was really excited when she got to play this part, which I believe was initially written to be a man." "It feels like the [chemistry] thing just sorta happened on its own and grew. She's a lovely scene partner and it's fantastic to work with her," he concluded.
