The man is dedicated to his art!
There's a reason that 'Jackass' is such a phenomenon. The stars, especially Steve-O are so dedicated to their art (of being jackasses sometimes) that they simply amaze their audience. In a recent stunt that has since gone viral, Steve-O had duct-taped himself to a giant billboard in order to promote his upcoming show while the traffic flowed below him as usual.
This is so iconic!! I Stan Steve-0 and so happy that he has been sober for so long and is finally back to his typical original old crazy Steve-O antics pic.twitter.com/8ftpsUszHd— Hayley𓅐 pinned pls (@HappyNowKTM) August 13, 2020
As reported by TMZ, he got himself taped to the billboard to promote his new show 'Gnarly' which, according to the show itself, is 'a very naughty multimedia special.'
I've seen some great marketing tactics over the years, but Steve-O took it to a completely new level! 🤣 https://t.co/Nh8PX6eNCK— Richard Ray Rawlings (@RRRawlings) August 13, 2020
He was able to take a selfie of himself though and posted it on Instagram with the caption: "I’m attached to a billboard right now (swipe to see the whole thing) and want to emphasize that a team of real professionals rigged everything safely. There is zero chance of me falling, and it’s important to me that we not waste any valuable city resources on this. I’m happy to just hang out, and really want the world to know about this project I worked so hard on. It’s called Gnarly and, If you’re over 18, check it out at steveo.com! Thanks!"
Of course, if the stunt is this good, who knows, the show may be incredible as well, given his penchant for the bizarre and the outlandish!
