An average human being would mostly do things in the traditional or more conventional way. Then there's a Jared Leto way of doing stuff—unconventional and daring. His Met Gala appearance as Karl Lagerfeld's cat stunned everyone on the red carpet. Leto is now back with another "don't try this at home" act of climbing a hotel wall. Of course, the internet is laughing. 

The 51-year-old ditched the hotel elevator and went off-route with his recent gravity-defying act. Leto was captured climbing the stone wall of the five-star Hotel De Rome in Berlin on Monday, June 5, 2023. Why? Nobody knows and they were too busy enjoying the stunt to find out the reason. 

The Suicide Squad actor appeared without any safety gear and scaled the brick wall wearing a black T-shirt, camouflage-printed joggers and sneakers. The American actor went up and came down like it was an everyday routine—calm, cool and collected. The video was widely shared on social media platforms and his stunt attracted a small crowd of onlookers outside Hotel De Rome. Leto first climbed a few feet from the ground to the hotel balcony before harmlessly climbing back down the stone wall. 

A TikTok account, @whoopsee.it shared the video and on Twitter, the video went viral on the Pop Crave account with 2.7 million views and hundreds of hilarious comments. A Twitter user, @selenastan18 commented, "My intrusive thoughts be like." @youaresogoldcn was as bewildered as we are and wrote, "Every time I think he can't be weirder, he surprises me." Another Twitter user, @corneil_ri compared Leto with a legendary cartoon character, "He thought he's Tarzan." Though it's unclear why Leto scaled the hotel wall, TMZ reported that the actor was spotted with a famous TikToker, Younes Zarou who is renowned for his illusion videos and wild stunts. According to this TMZ report, the TikTok user's gang and Leto were "shooting some other segments with Jared near the hotel."

Their team was also shooting other stuff, including a pretty rad smoke-filled shot. Leto's hotel wall climbing was likely part of some "mysterious" collaboration they were planning to launch or who knows, Leto might just be killing time by walking up and down the brick wall. @deadxgemini said, "It (the video) zooming out and him only being 10 feet from the ground SENT ME." @jabstabby asked, "He's still taking the Joker role too seriously?" @timmysstats questioned, "Where does he get all the energy? I'll have what he's on."

Leto is known for his unidentifiable transformations. The actor will hit the screens in Haunted Mansion, director Justin Simien's adaptation of the 2003 film based on the beloved Disneyland attraction as the Hatbox Ghost, per Entertainment Weekly. Simien told EW about Leto's transformation, "It's very surprising. You'd be shocked to know who it was until you're told." Simien praised Leto's craft and said, "Leto knocked it out of the park. He's very menacing and terrifying (in the film)."
