John Legend's Epic Song For Drew Barrymore's 'Pet Dragon' Leaves Her Floored | “Drew Is All of Us, Lmao”

John Legend's legendary live performance left Drew Barrymore speechless and literally on the floors as he sang a slightly altered version of his 2013 hit track, All Of Me for none other than Barrymore's scaly pet. The American singer and songwriter showcased his vocal talent for a distinct fan, a bearded dragon. During an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Legend serenaded Barrymore's pet dragon Jeremy and left people in stitches.
The 44-year-old singer bonded with the daytime talk show host over their passion for owning weird pets like lizards. Yes, Legend is a proud owner of one named Sebastian and Barrymore's bearded pet dragon is famous as Jeremy. The 50 First Dates star was excited to have her pet joining Legend on the show and said before Jeremy's arrival, "I can't believe this is about to happen. There are days of your life where you think this is as good as it's going to get and I know it's that for Jeremy."
The reptile appeared sitting royally on a rose-covered miniature piano. "It's very sexy. Jeremy's naked on the piano," joked Legend. The Charlie's Angels star asked Legend if he had ever sung for his pet Sebastian and learned that he hasn't. However, Legend cooked up an exclusive Jeremy-themed song on the spot. Barrymore could not handle the cuteness and fell on the floor.
"Let me sing a song to Jeremy," Legend said as he belted out a remixed version of his Grammy-nominated single. "Jeremy, oh Jeremy. Love your curves and all your edges / all your perfect imperfections," he hummed before adding a funny twist to it. "Jeremy, don't poop on me. You're my end and my beginning / if you don't poop on me I am winning / Oh, Jeremy."
People gushed over the hilariously sweet gesture in the comments. A YouTube user, @Tinka, wrote, "Oh my goodness. My baby rescue bearded dragon went nuts when he heard the song! Thanks for the laugh." Another user, @Poop NOODLE, said, "Drew is all of us, LMAO." Barrymore jokingly fell off the couch in awe of the gesture by Legend which left him and the audience in hysterics. She got back up and told Jeremy, "You know this is as good as it's gonna get."
Barrymore then appreciated Legend's performance and said, "Seriously, thank you," and the singer replied, "My pleasure." The Nervous singer chuckled and told the reptile it was "an absolute honor" to perform for him. During the show, the singer also revealed how he and his family are adjusting to the new addition to the family. Legend and with his wife Chrissy Teigen welcomed a baby daughter, Esti Maxine in January 2023.
He joked about his newborn, "She doesn't play Uno with us yet." While talking about his other kids, Luna and Miles, Legend said, "They're doing so well. Honestly, I was a little worried because I felt when she was still inside Chrissy, they were a bit jealous that mom was bringing a new baby into the world but when she came out, they just snapped into place. They were trying to be good siblings. They were excited when she came home. It just brought more energy and joy to our house."
