Lizzo Shares Adele’s Reaction to Harry Styles' Grammy Win Over Beyoncé and It's Prime Meme-Material

Fans look forward to their favorite artists winning it big every year at the most significant event of the music industry—the Grammys. But this year, the award ceremony was extra fun and memorable, thanks to the antics of Lizzo and Adele sitting at the same table.
In several viral footages circulating across the internet, we can see Adele reacting to Harry Styles’ Grammy win. In one video, it seems that the Skyfall singer is storming off as Styles delivers his acceptance speech on stage. But we have managed to track down the original TikTok clip posted by none other than Lizzo which has become a viral meme in no time.

In the TikTok video posted by the Juice singer, Adele can be seen reacting to Styles’ Album of the Year Grammy win over Beyonce. But in reality, Adele was wondering why exactly Lizzo is filming her instead of Styles who was getting onto the stage to collect his award. Another footage from a different angle showed Adele seemingly rolling her eyes after Styles’ name was announced instead of Beyonce’s.
Someone on Twitter reacted to this and wrote how "the best part was Adele not getting pissed for winning the award herself because she knows it belonged to Beyonce." After all Adele, a big Beyoncé fan, refused to accept her own Grammy for 25 back in 2017 because she thought Beyoncé deserved to win Album of the Year for Lemonade, per Elle. Many fans were convinced that Adele might have walked off during Harry's speech when yet another video from a different angle surfaced on the internet.

But amidst the hilarious mayhem, Lizzo and a few other artists started singing along to Music For A Sushi Restaurant as Styles went ahead to receive his Grammy for his record Harry’s House. As Lizzo continued filming and thrust the camera into Adele’s face, she didn’t appear too happy. Her unhappiness might not necessarily be in line with people's assumptions on the internet though. Lizzo just pointed the camera at Adele for a wee bit longer making her shout, “Why are you filming me for?”

Lizzo’s TikTok post amassed over 9 million views and countless comments as one social media user wrote: “This is like the 2014 Oscar selfie.” Another person on the platform “thanked Lizzo for recording the footage from that particular angle” and mentioned how “everyone deserves a friend like Lizzo.”

The fans were thrilled to see the A-list artists interact through the evening and the internet unanimously agrees that they made the Grammy ceremony so much fun with their infectious energy. Despite Adele missing out on the Best Album award, she got to take home the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for her song Easy on Me. Adele picked up 7 nominations at the 2023 Grammys and Beyonce lead the nominations with 9.
