Everyone would agree that in the age of multiple dating applications on the internet, finding a match is still no cakewalk. But landing a job offer on a dating site would sure make you feel puzzled. The presence of professional networking sites like LinkedIn became an age-old means to grab better career opportunities. When this man shares how he was about land a cool career opportunity without much effort, LinkedIn sure must have felt some downward spiral from glory. Adnan Khan shared a screenshot of his conversation with a potential match in a post on Twitter jokingly. The tweet has more than 13k likes on the platform, currently.

Nobody knew, landing cool career opportunities would be so easy on dating applications until this man shared his experience. The chat, which was meant to be a getting-to-know-each-other conversation, became a quid-pro-quo for a job hunt. As it reads the potential match says, “hahahaha I’m in HR. Talent Acquisition in a start-up.” And inquires, “what about you?” To which the Tweeter replies, “Oooof. I’m doing my master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering.”
Taking the golden opportunity Khan couldn't resist asking, “Maybe you can talent acquisit me in your start-up.”
Anyone would find a sudden request of recommendation to be far off the course and ridiculous on a dating site. But the match was rather pleased to know and shared a similar thought. As they reply to the request by saying, “I was gonna ask what jobs you’re looking for LOL.” Asking further they write, “Are you graduating this year?”
The screenshot was posted by the young man with the purpose of taking a dig at everyone else who was working hard to make legit networks on the professional career apps. The post was shared on Twitter as a meme template captioned, "you use LinkedIn for jobs, I use Bumble, we’re not the same bro."
Long ago there was a meme which said, any app is tinder if you are Indian enough. I guess in the age of layoffs, out priorities have shifted😂😭

Ever since its posting on Twitter, the post has accumulated over 6.5 lakh views. Which became a popular topic of discussion amongst the young generation out there. And anyone would envy Adnan for his resourcefulness and epic timing in seeking a recommendation. We don’t know if the trick is legit and if it would work every time, but there’s nothing wrong with testing your luck. After all, you have nothing to lose.
