In the field of art and design, Artificial Intelligence or AI has made remarkable progress over the last few years. It is believed that AI will be capable of surpassing human intellect in the future. With the rise in the number of freely available text-to-image generators, there has been an increase in the amount of online fraud and catfishing as well. According to Creative Bloq, even tech billionaire Elon Musk is afraid of AI advancement and he thinks "it should be put on hold." Along with ethical and copyright concerns, realistic visuals are not the only aspect of AI that is stirring debate. Several individuals are using AI to try and fool the internet.

@xbtGBH on Twitter posted two screenshots from an unnamed and now-deleted account which grabbed the eyeballs of netizens and went viral. In one screenshot, a man boasts about his dating preferences and claims to date only younger women whose ages fall between the margins of 18 and 24. The man also reveals that he himself is 40 years old and has apparently "tested dating older women extensively" to not prefer them anymore.

On an adjacent screenshot from the account of @ivy_wylder, there is a long text about how 40-year-old men like these hire sex workers to hang out with them and take pictures. We can't be certain if the woman from the now-deactivated Twitter account was trying to defend the "alpha male" guy who just wants to date younger women but all of it was debunked by some hawkeyed netizens in the comment section.

It didn't take people long to look at the pictures of the man with the girls closely to figure out that those images were generated with the help of artificial intelligence. Few tweets pointed out the number of fingers on the hands of the women in the picture. Since AI is known to fumble with getting the digits of humans right most of the time, it is easy to differentiate between a fake photograph and a real one.

Others flocked in to point out that these images could have been generated with the help of Midjourney, a popular program and service to convert text prompts into art pieces and photographs. Some couldn't hold themselves back from criticizing this 40-year-old man's lifestyle. Though we can't tell if the claims are authentic or not, we can clearly mark the pictures included in them as fake AI images. So we can conclude that even though AI is getting smarter, humans have still got the upper hand and can call out these wanna-be Leonardo DiCaprios on the internet who make false claims using fabricated images.
