Once a prankster, always a prankster. Shay Bradley made sure people around him laughed their pants off and even while leaving for his heavenly abode, Bradley didn't disappoint his loved ones. The fun-loving Bradley didn't want to miss the chance to prank his loved ones one last time, so he prepared in advance. Amidst all the gloom and serious reflections, everybody was shocked to hear a strange voice at the cremation ground. Their shock turned into horror as they discovered the voice was coming from inside the grave.  A video surfaced online of an Irish Defence Force veteran who took his last breath on October 8, 2019. At his funeral in Kilmanagh, Leinster, as his family and friends lowered his casket inside an open grave, from the coffin, a voice was heard. The voice shouted, "Hello, hello. Let me out."

The mourners couldn't fathom how it could be possible. Before anyone could figure it out, the voice shouted again, "Where the f*** am I? Let me out, let me out. It's f-ing dark in here. Is that the priest I can hear? This is Shay. I'm in the box. No, in f-ing front of you. I'm dead." Everybody started laughing. The recorder played the sound of him knocking on the coffin's wood. The voice continued, "Hello, again. Hello, hello. I just called to say goodbye." The cemetery burst out laughing as they remembered their beloved Bradley, always cracking people up.

Following a long illness, Bradley passed away but kept the spirits alive for everyone. His daughter, Andrea Bradley told HuffPost her father recorded this audio before his last breath and it was a secret between her brother, Jonathan and her nephew, Ben. They informed her of the prank two days before the funeral along with their mother.

They also told her it was their dad's dying wish to play the pre-recorded message at the funeral. She added, "He wanted to make sure my mom would be laughing leaving the cemetery, not crying." Aw! She also said their parents were sweethearts and were married for 43 years. "And he has done just that." The news was also shared on the Irish Defence Forces Veterans News Facebook page with the caption, "It is with great sadness that I was informed of the passing of our Military Brother and Veteran Colleague Shay Bradley. On behalf of the members of the IDFVA, I extend our sincerest condolences and prayers to Anne and his family at this sad time. May Shay Rest in Peace."

Indeed the man was loved and admired for his unwavering spirit, humor, wit and ability to always have a last laugh. Andrea also added the prank was his dad's way of saying, "Ok, the sadness is over now; here is a laugh so you can go and celebrate my life with a smile on your face." "This prank was one in a million, just like my dad," she concluded.
