"Lizard fell on my boyfriend's ice cream cone and decides to give it a taste test," the TikTok user who shared the video explained.
Sharing food with our animal companions is pure joy unless the food is harmful to them or you are their food. However, if a reptile were to fall on our food out of nowhere, it is not only unhygienic but also extremely startling. Not for this guy though. In a video shared by TikTok user @plovepie_, a chill little lizard is seen having the time of his life while clinging to an ice cream cone. Captioned "OKAY BUT LIKE WHY IS IT ACTUALLY SO CUTE," the video gained over 2.5 million views within a week.
The TikTok user who shared the video appears to have been out with her boyfriend somewhere when a lizard fell on his ice cream. She explained in the text overlay on the clip: "Lizard fell on my bf's ice cream cone and decides to give it a taste test."
A usual response to such a situation would be to get scared and throw the cone away immediately. But here what we see is the lizard licking and seemingly the ice cream at leisure. The boyfriend accepted the situation and shared the cool dessert with his cute new friend. As he continues to hold the cone as it is, the lizard seems to adorably relish the treat.
On the recommendation of a few viewers, the video was uploaded thrice again with different soundtracks to make it look even more amusing. One of the videos was uploaded to the famous TikTok sound clip... "'Am just a baby," which suited the video of the little lizard perfectly well.
Comments showered the post to adore the lizard. "HE IS JUST A BABY," commented @AssGoblin6969. "That's YOUR lizard now. Take him home," suggested @Lovelyn. "Once in a lifetime opportunity for that lizard - carpe diem lil buddy," wished @teddywiththumbs. "I don’t dream of riches or fame, I dream of little lizards falling on my ice cream and tasting it," joked @l.l.lapis.
A few suggested that he should take the lizard home and make it his roommate. "You gotta keep it," insisted @did_i_ask_321. "It's a crested gecko you should adopt it they get big enough to fit on your shoulder there also great companions," suggested @kat21822. "You should let him keep the ice cream and take him home and get a heater and a 10-gallon tank," advised @thatgirlcookie4.
If you find little lizards cute, well, here's another instance. On Facebook in 2021, The Dodo posted a video captioned: "Lady's Backyard Is A Mini Jurassic Park," which received 17 million views. A lady in the video seems to present small snacks to tiny curly-tailed lizards.
She explains, "They all just wait for me every morning. They knew I got up, they knew when I went outside and they'd be waiting in line." It started with the one on the patio and eventually, the little buddy called three more of its friends. It became a daily routine of sharing snacks with these lizards while she ate breakfast every morning.
