This Epic ‘Shirtception’ Gift That Involves a Man Wearing a Shirt of Himself a Year Ago for 8 Years Is Blowing Our Minds

A guy on the internet amused us by sharing his brother's gifts to him over the last nine years which are inspired by the film Inception. It is surely one of the best custom-made gifts we've seen in a while because it's not a one-time gift. It has evolved over the years and become a series. A Reddit user named GeorgieWashington shared a special shirt he received from his brother during the holidays.
It's called "Shirtception" and it features a picture of GeorgieWashington in 2022 wearing a shirt from 2021, wearing a picture of him wearing a shirt from 2020, and so on. Each year is a different level and it all started in 2014 when he received a shirt with his smiling face on the body of the garment. That same photo appeared in 2015 but in a picture of GeorgieWashington wearing the first shirt. The post captioned, "'Shirtception' - my favorite gift every year from my brother. We're now at level 9" went viral after GeorgieWashington shared images of all the shirts (so far) on Reddit.
Fellow Reddit users who upvoted the post 83.8 thousand times are now invested and looking forward to the next holiday season. "Welp. I'm invested now. I'll see you all next year," wrote u/confusedplayer. Commenting about how he doesn't seem to look very different every year, u/lobsterhunterer commented, "He's like a tree. You can't tell the age just by looking at it but you can tell the age of a tree by counting the number of its rings, or in this guy's case by counting the number of shirt pics." "This tradition must go on for your entire life and be passed on to your kids. Future generations will marvel at these works of art in the Louvre one day," suggested u/LiKINGtheODds. Here's the shirt's evolution over the past nine years. Don't have any misconceptions. It's called a "Shirtception."
