Age is just a number and Martha Stewart proved it again. A video surfaced on TikTok from a panel discussion where the 81-year-old lifestyle guru was caught sipping a margarita from a measuring cup. The video clip lasted for 10 seconds but it inspired millions. 

She took the stage as a panelist for Samsung's Unbox & Discover event on April 4, 2023 and then participated in a Q-and-A alongside actress Rosario Dawson and professional football player Carl Nassib. But a cup stole all the spotlight and left the internet frenzied. Thanks to a TikTok user, the moment has been documented. Kate Kozuch, @kate_kozuch, is a tech specialist and managing editor at Tom's Guide, covering smartwatches and tech wearables. She was one of the attendees at the event. She shot the video and posted it on her TikTok account with a text overlay, "For real, when I'm 81, I want to be Martha Stewart drinking a margarita out of a measuring cup in public."

Stewart has made quite a name for herself as an internet icon. Her Instagram account is a sight to behold where she often shares gorgeous tablescapes, lifestyle tips and party-planning inspirations. Even at age 81, she gave every lifestyle influencer a run for their business because Stewart has no plans to slow down her brand deals anytime soon. The 10-second video garnered 2.4 million views and over 250k likes. The video zooms in to Stewart's feet to share the close-up of the half-filled measuring cup with the bright-pink drink. The clip also had another shot where Stewart picked up the cup and put it back at her side while Snoop Dogg's Drop It Like It's Hot played in the background.

The TikTok world couldn't keep calm as Stewart drank her margarita nonchalantly. She seemed absolutely unfazed by her unconventional drinking cup. A TikTok user, @frex_mcgee, wrote, "I feel like Martha has been the lowest key OG and we're just finding out about this in her DGAF Era." Another user, @leoharrera747 asked what everyone's wondering, "I'm curious what's the reason for the selection of the measuring cup." @1shubbs commented, "And the shoes!! I've met her twice and she was amazing and so naturally funny!"

Stewart's representatives confirmed that the iconic drink was indeed her famous pomegranate Martha-Rita, per TODAY. Before the cameras rolled, the American businesswoman showed fellow panelists Dawson and Nassib how to make margaritas using pomegranate extract in a kitchen with Samsung appliances. "They are really margaritas, but I have kind of changed the flavors a little bit," she explained the drink. However, it is still a mystery how the pink drink made its way to a measuring cup on stage. More than the drink, it was the 'distinct' drinking vessel that users seemed to get a kick out of.

It's not new for Stewart to have a shot of the drink. She made the famous drink known as 'Martha-Rita' using two cups of tequila for only four drinks. She also ensured the exclusive drink was served in large goblets instead of traditional margarita glasses. Nobody knows why but it's Martha Stewart so, no complaints.
