The mom revealed that she had been attempting to potty train her son even though he preferred to do his business anywhere but the toilet.
Being a parent involves living through unpredictable moments of exhaustion, terror, innocence, mischief, disgust, and plenty of tears and laughter. Parenting requires wearing many hats, from feeding and entertaining the little ones to teaching them how to stay clean. It also comes with a lifetime supply of hilarious stories. Bringing a child into this world and raising them is no joke but there are a few moments that need to be simply laughed off. A mom on TikTok, Amanda Kitz, had a hilarious tale about her child to share. Both parents and those who don't have children had a good laugh over the hysterical tale of how her son's potty training was going and the video racked up over 3.2 million views.
Kitz revealed that she had been attempting to potty train her son Austin even though he preferred to do his business anywhere but the toilet. Austin can be seen in the viral video watching something on a tablet. He smiles brightly as he looks up at the camera when his mom supposedly asks him this question: "Hey Austin, have you been using the big boy potty?!" In a freeze frame of Austin smiling sweetly at the camera, Kitz adds in a text overlay: "Austin was not... Austin was using his bedroom closet... wiping with his clean clothes... then tried to flush the evidence."
The comments under the video were no less than funny and probably made people rethink having children in the future. "My tubes just tied themselves in a double knot," commented @user5454264226867. "Play this at his wedding," suggested @Kelsey. "TikTok has taught me that little kids shit around the house and it’s making me nervous that I did that as a kid and my parents just didn't tell me," wrote @frannieeats. "My kids put a box in their closet for 'night-time poops' because they were scared to walk 5 feet to the bathroom," added @Trev. "Austin is going places but not the bathroom," joked @sidestepp_.
A few TikTok users had relatable stories to share. "My 13-year-old daughter pooped in her closet all the time when she was little. My husband brings it up as much as possible," wrote @steffisher. "My daughter pooped on her tea party plates while playing in her room. Told us it was brownies, wanted us to eat it. she was 2 fyi and now 25," revealed @Wendy Hutton. "My brother pooped inside all of the family members' shoes and blamed the cat," shared @BookishBaroness. "My mom told me I pooped in her wine glass and it was a clean deposit. Nothing on the rim. Like, how?!" shared @aliceelric. "My son was terrified of sitting on the toilet while potty training so he pooped in our closet that's why I'm 1 and done lmao," concluded @4eyedmutantgirl.
