Neighbors Request Man to Stop Having Noisy Sex at 6 Am in Hilarious Note | “We Have Heard You Shagging”

His early-morning bedroom activities are keeping his neighbors awake and they finally slid a note in his letterbox asking him to “shut up.”

When we look for a new house or shared apartment, we wish and hope for decent neighbors and roommates. However, we might encounter some unruly neighbors who disturb everyone around with their self-indulgent ways.

One man has apparently forgotten that he is part of human civilization and that he resides in a locality where his bedroom antics can be heard loud and clear by his neighbors. One of his frustrated neighbors has had enough of his antics and they finally decided to do something about it. Fed up with the noises greeting them every morning, they slid a note in his letterbox asking him to “shut up.”

It seems that sending the man a letter was the only way to deal with his nuisance and hopefully put a stop to his loud lovemaking which is keeping his neighbors awake at 6 am. A Reddit user called u/selfawareusername shared a picture of the note on the platform. The note from the neighbor reminds the man that he "lives in a terraced house" and as a result, he shares walls with other people who can hear the loud noises coming from his room.

The neighbors claim that apart from having embarrassingly loud intercourse, the man also talks and sings loudly. Much to everyone's annoyance, most of his mortifying activities take place exactly at 6 in the morning. The picture of the letter shared on Reddit reads as follows: “Good morning. Just a reminder that you live in a terraced house. We have heard you shagging, singing, and God knows what else so many times. And for some reason, it's all at 6 am? We wouldn't care but it's literally every week. Please shut up.”

The neighbors also made sure to let the man know where the complaint was coming from. "Your neighbors at number 17," the sign at the end of the note read. The original post of the note on Reddit was shared by a friend of the man who received it, alongside the caption: "My friend got this through the letterbox."

Several Reddit users praised the person who decided to write the note and even had the confidence to put their house number at the bottom of the letter instead of just sending it anonymously.

A Reddit user u/somersquatch shared a similar story in the comments and wrote: “Reminds me of the time I had to put a note on a neighbor's vehicle for taking multiple spots with just their 1 vehicle when you could easily fit 2 if not 3 vehicles where they were parking theirs. I left a note on their car just saying 'hey if you're going to park in front of someone else's house, at least be courteous enough to leave room for them to park, thanks. P.S. - if this doesn't make sense, my number is - '. Never received a phone call from them, and they now consistently park in one spot like a normal, considerate person.”

We hope to never encounter such noisy neighbors in our lives!
