Nick Jonas Battling With Daughter's Fold-Up Ball Pit In Hilarious Video Has Us In Splits

There are some challenges that almost all dads face in their parenting journey. Whether it's changing diapers, spending sleepless nights soothing their children or trying to fold up ball pits. Whether you are a celebrity dad or not, fatherhood comes with relatable experiences. Just ask Nick Jonas. In an Instagram post, the musician and 30-year-old dad of one, Nick Jonas shared his difficulties with folding his 14-month-old daughter, Malti Marie's ball pit.

The singer-songwriter captioned the post, "Dad stuff. #daddy #hacks," while wearing an orange trucker cap and a grey hoodie as he battled the product back into its carry case. "OK, so, um, I am trying to figure out how to get this, which is a ball pit, my daughter was in... to fold up... in this bag," Jonas said while holding up the small circular blue bag. "Here we go."
The video then goes on to show Jonas twisting and turning the ball pit to the song Waffle House by the Jonas Brothers (which suitably refers to a "headstrong father"). "Not me Googling how to fold up a ball pit," Jonas jokes, just before almost managing to fold the ball pit and accidentally ripping the zip off the bag. He ends his video with visible frustration.
The relatable video was an attempt at experiencing fatherhood (and its epic fails). The clip struck a chord with the singer's fans online as many commented on how Jonas has been navigating parenthood. "I'll never get over Nick being a dad now. Love this, so relatable!!!" commented @cher.lisner. "Wow, this is so relatable !!!!" wrote @sarah_haden. "The real struggles of life," added @cubswanson. Jonas and his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas, 40 welcomed Malti via surrogate on January 15, 2022. The couple's adorable parenting moments follow their difficult early journey with Malti who spent her first 100 days in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) before returning home just in time for Mother's Day in May 2022.
"On this Mother's Day, we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home," Chopra Jonas captioned a post reflecting on the couple's initial months as parents. "Our baby is truly a bada**," Jonas wrote on Instagram in May 2022 while reflecting on her homecoming. "Our next chapter begins now."
Following their December 2018 wedding, the couple was open about their desire to start a family with Chopra Jonas telling Vanity Fair that children were a "big part" of the future they imagined together. The Quantico star also spoke to PEOPLE about how her life has changed since marrying Jonas and welcoming Malti. "Having [Nick's] support and my family — my in-laws are back home with the baby — just being able to have my family show up is the only way I could do what I do. My family is my greatest, greatest strength," she said.
