The Black Widow star, Rachel Weisz has adorably confessed that she is clueless about Star Wars unlike her husband and her four-year-old daughter who are obsessed with the series. On Thursday, April 20, 2022, Weisz told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show that her husband, Daniel Craig (whom she married in 2011) has been bonding with their daughter over a mutual love for Star Wars movies. But Weisz is oblivious. Colbert asked Weisz if she had ever seen the movie and the British-American actor told the show host, "Umm," with a guilty smile. However, her little girl's love for the series got so intense the star parents had to break the cycle. Weisz said, "Daniel and our daughter had been watching Star Wars. It was like a father-daughter bonding experience and they started on the original ones. My daughter got obsessed. She kept saying, 'Google this. Google this. What does Darth Vader look like under his mask?'"

Weisz shed light on her brief encounter with Star Wars as a kid but she's not highly invested in it. Well, Colbert then quizzed her over her knowledge of the franchise. "What is the thing they're trying to destroy in the movie?" He instructed the audience to give her no hints. "Umm, Darth Vader?" Weisz replied while cracking up. Colbert couldn't handle her lack of familiarity and laughed, "This is part of the movie where we find out you're the alien." Weisz joked that she might be extraterrestrial and drew a comparison with another science fiction series. "Oh, it's like 'Mork & Mindy'!" she replied. Well, we cannot blame her. We are ignorant about many movies as well and wouldn't like to be roasted about it. But what was not normal for Weisz and her husband was their daughter's obsession with the franchise. She and Craig had to tell her that Star Wars was "broken." OMG!

Weisz continued in the show, "She wants to know everything, and she's obsessed with mythology. I said to him, to her dad, 'I think this is too much for her. It's too intense.'" The family landed in New York and their daughter asked, "Is Star Wars broken in New York, too?" Weisz responded, "Yes, it's broken in New York, too." The James Bond star is no less than their daughter and even shared the scene from 2015's The Force Awakens that featured him. Craig had a small cameo as the Stormtrooper who released Rey (Daisy Ridley) from captivity. Remember? Craig recalled his part, "I said to Ben, 'Part for me?' And he was like, 'Are you serious?'" Craig recalled to Express, per Entertainment Weekly. "I was like, 'Yeah.' And he went, 'I'll go ask J.J Abrams.' And he came back and said, 'Yeah.'"
