The Deadpool star did not hold back when Wrexham captain Ben Tozer admitted he fancied Ryan Reynold's 77-year-old mother. Reynolds is armed with sharp wit and can put people in their place so he responded brilliantly to the captain on Twitter. Reynolds is a co-owner of Wrexham Football Club along with Rob McElhenney. They purchased it in November 2020 and propelled the club to a new level of fame. 

Reynolds had two things to 'celebrate' this week—a dramatic victory of Wrexham over Notts County and getting a "new dad." After a heart-palpitating victory, Captain Tozer appeared on talkSPORT, where the presenter, Laura Woods asked him to comment on rumors that Reynolds' 77-year-old mother, Tammy had been flirting with him. "Ryan Reynolds' mum has been flirting with you as well. You are her favorite," Woods told the Wrexham skipper. Tozer replied, "Not quite her favorite but we had a lovely hug, though." The skipper then passed a comment that left people in stitches: "She's not a bad-looking woman at 77; it must be said!" Woah! That was brave of him to say that. 

But the Free Guy star responded more cheekily to Tozer's 'feelings.' He released a series of social media posts. In his first post on Twitter, he wrote, "Get promoted and I'll make you my new stepdad, Tozer." The proposal went well with Wrexham's fans and they labeled Reynolds "the greatest owner in the history of sports." Only time will tell who Tammy would choose and if Reynolds would approve of his 'stepdad.' For now, the Twitter world is busy having a laugh riot. A Twitter user, @ChinnyReckon4, wrote, "Good luck shifting him now, Mrs. Reynolds." 

Another user, @KandtRw commented, "Ryan! What does your dad think about being thrown over?!? (Yes, Ollie & Ben are exquisite, but seriously? Your Pa???" @dbay83 compared this to Reynold's famous franchise, Deadpool. He said, "A better love story than Dead Pool." @WensdaiAmbrose quipped, "Somebody needs to date Ryan's mom. Not just because she seems to be a sweet and kind person but also because Ryan wants a stepdad SO BADLY." Another fan called @jde_888 tweeted, "I hope you've got a big back garden for when you're playing father & son football with him, Ryan. His long throws are no joke." 

Both Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney added Hollywood glamor to the football game. Reynolds' involvement in the sporting world is not fleeting.
