We often spot a few unruly passengers creating a ruckus on public transport which makes the journey of fellow passengers annoyingly difficult. Well, Savannah Chrisley turned out to be one of those unruly passengers, according to Southwest Airlines. The 25-year-old reality TV star who also happens to be the daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley posted a few clips on her Instagram story narrating what exactly happened.

According to TODAY, Southwest Airlines had to boot her off the flight after accusing her of unruly behavior. Chrisley filmed herself in the Instagram story footage from the gate of an airport and shared that her awful experience with the flight was over an issue of checked-in baggage. “Alright, guys, so I officially know why everyone hates Southwest so much. I mean, hates it,” she started the video and then turned her camera to film an airline employee whom she identified by name before calling him awful. “I went to board my flight and he told me that I had to check my bag,” she added about her interaction with the flight attendant. “I was like, ‘Okay, if you wouldn’t mind, I’m gonna take my bag on the flight, see if I can’t make it fit and if not, I’ll check it.’”

As per Chrisley’s account, she was pushed back after the attendant told her that checking her bag would no longer be possible. When Chrisley tried to board the flight and check if there was space for her baggage on the flight or not, the attendant called her an “unruly passenger.” The matter escalated to the point where the pilot had to step in as well. The pilot asked the attendant to “calm down” and offered to find some space for the reality star's bag on the flight. “And the Southwest attendant looked at the pilot,” she elaborated. “The man who is flying our plane and is responsible for our safety, the most important person within Southwest Airlines, the attendant, looked at him and said, ‘Stay out of it.’”

In a statement given to the outlet, Southwest said that the company’s “initial reports indicate a different story than the one from the customer’s account, as she arrived at the gate late in the boarding process and repeatedly insulted our Employee after being asked to gate-check her bag." The spokesperson for Southwest Airlines also revealed via an email that “the customer was denied boarding on her original flight but later she was booked on a different flight the same day.”

In Chrisley’s Instagram video, she explained that she had told the attendant about having a 10-year-old and that she had to get home that night. “The Southwest attendant said ‘I don’t care,’” Chrisley said. The reality TV star became the guardian to her 10-year-old niece Chloe and her 16-year-old brother Grayson after her parents got embroiled in legal issues in 2022. Her father and mother were sentenced to 14 years and 7 years in prison respectively for tax fraud. The Chrisley Knows The Best star cussed Southwest Airlines for their bad service and thanked the pilot who attempted to help her in the situation.

But she also had another bit of information to add about the whole fiasco. “After he told me he didn’t care if I got home to my 10-year-old, I told him that I hope he found a ‘better purpose for his life,’” the reality star said. “Maybe I shouldn’t have said it. But the devil came over me, and the Jesus did not come out.” We can tell that her flight experience was sour but without knowing the legitimacy of the story, we can’t blame either party for being at fault.
